ActiSmile mandated the Swiss Federal Office of Sports (SFOS)

• Validation of the ActiSmile device, when used by adults
• Validation of the ActiSmile device, when used by children

The results will be presented at the 16th Annual Congress of the ECSS from 6th – 9th July 2011, in Liverpool, UK and it can already be stated: the obtained results are setting a new standard in the domain of human physical activity monitoring:

„The ActiSmile is a small and easy to handle bio feedback device that measures precisely time spent in walking and running. It gives the user a valid feedback on the achievement of HEPA (Health enhanced physical activities) recommendations.”
